  1. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Schuylkill County Pennsylvania by Ihor Wolchuk: I met with eight or more solar providers and found that Lumina offered the best combination of equipment, financing, and reputation, based on their numerous positive reviews. It was a pleasure working with my project manager, Jack Wood, and Lumina’s design team. With my input, they revised the layout, number of panels, and overall design several times to address my concerns and fully maximize the potential of my three roof surfaces. Additionally, they managed to do it in an aesthetically pleasing way. After installation, one of my panels stopped working due to squirrel damage. Lumina’s monitoring service detected the issue the same day and promptly sent a repair crew to fix it. I couldn’t recommend the company more highly.
  2. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Schuylkill County Pennsylvania by Jeffrey Page: We have had an excellent experience with Lumina Solar. Our great experience began with our initial contact with Lumina’s Residential Solar Consultant, Ryan Cook, who patiently walked us through what Lumina was offering, what we could expect from the service, how the installation, how long the process would take, as well as what financing options we might be eligible for. Once we signed with Lumina, every touch point with the company was smooth, professional, and efficient. At one point we had a minor concern about our roof, and Lumina sent out a senior consultant to look at the situation, talk through the issue, and arrive at a satisfactory resolution. Most importantly, since we installed the Lumina solar panels, our electric bills have dropped to zero — over the past few months we’ve paid PEPCO on the nominal administrative fee of 18-odd dollars. Lumina has provided excellent service from start to finish, and we are very satisfied not only with our reduced electric bill but also with the knowledge that we are contributing to a greener environment.
  3. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Schuylkill County Pennsylvania by Rodney Martin: Lumina solar is an amazing company to deal with. There are very knowledgeable, and great communication through the entire process. My township had an old ordinance that prevented the size of system that I needed. Lumina worked and kept me informed as to what we needed to do to get the permits. Everyone from the start to the finish was nice and friendly. I would highly recommend this company.
  4. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Schuylkill County Pennsylvania by charles grebe jr: i see all the good reviews, where are the true reviews, i got nothing these people promised, i have their solar and still get big bills from met ed, opposite of what i was told, i was told they put a bigger setup on than needed and i would get money from met ed every year for what they used but instead get bills from met ed, and forget about calling salesman, he never returns calls, wish i never dealt with these people, this month, 167.00 out of my account for lumina and 144.00 bill from met ed, more than i ever paid, single man living alone
  5. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Schuylkill County Pennsylvania by John Herzig: Lumina did a nice job with our solar system installation. We are enjoying the savings on our electric bill, and doing our part on climate change. We worked with Alexander, who was very knowledgable and helpful.
  6. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Schuylkill County Pennsylvania by Sue Page: Lumina Solar recently installed a solar panel system and provided the best experience possible. The entire process was incredible - from initial consultation and design, to permitting, installation, inspection, and activation. The process began with Kurt, Project Manager, who did a great initial consultation and design. He answered all of my questions and communicated continuously throughout the project. All of the other contacts at each step were also fantastic: scheduling (Caitlin), survey (Ty), electrical (Ryan and Jeff), install (Anthony and Deandre), and inspection (Brooke). Also, electrician Chris was present at the final inspection. I highly recommend Lumina Solar for their outstanding customer service, communication, attention to detail, and quality. Thank you.
  7. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Schuylkill County Pennsylvania by Amy Ruddle Lewis: We had a delightful experience working with Christopher and his team at Lumina solar. Everything went according to plan and even exceeded our expectations. If you want to save the environment and save money at the same time, going solar is the way to do it. I very highly recommend the team at Lumina.
  8. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Schuylkill County Pennsylvania by Lauren McShea: We loved our experience with Lumina Solar. The entire process was seamless. Philip Jordan, our team lead, was a joy to work with. He is knowledgeable, efficient, and had great follow-through throughout the entire process. Our installers - Ryan Thrower, Titus Watkins, Josh Donne & Cameron Clark - are extremely skilled in their work, got the panels up quickly and all were so courteous while at our home. We had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend Lumina Solar.
  9. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Schuylkill County Pennsylvania by Chris Stoltzfus: When I was looking to go solar I had done a few quotes and designs with different companies. Lumina came in with not only the best pricing for the work, but the best design plan for the area as well. Jack knew his stuff and had a base design already done that showed estimates based on previous sun data and satellite pictures. We were able to determine taking out some trees could improve performance and which ones could stay. We had to do some back and forth with the electric company to get started which was the biggest hassle. There was a lack of communication from electric on getting us approvals and information if the system we planned was allowed. After 5 months they told us it wasn't and that we would need to pay to have a upgraded transformer installed. They then took another month to tell us a price before we said no and we down sized to what was allowed based on the current grid. By far this was the biggest headache but was in no part Lumina Solar's fault. Once we knew what we were allowed we went back and designed a system that would work. Permits and paperwork went pretty quickly after we got electric company to sign off. Due to the weather there was a little delay in getting install started but the team that came out did fantastic work. The hardest challenge for the installers was dealing with my old house's thick walls, (18inches plus a little empty space before another wall) but after determining what was needed they came back and managed to get the hole drilled. They were able to answer any questions I had along the way for the project and provided insight into other questions I had as well. On the roof install side of things, things went smoothly. A couple of the snow guards got broken but they ordered in new ones and replaced them without a hassle. The full Lumina team worked very well together and were always professional. I have recommended them to others and would do so again. Can't wait to see just how well the system works.
  10. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Schuylkill County Pennsylvania by Amanda Rahi: Excellent experience all around. I had been considering going solar for quite some time and had looked into a number of companies. It wasn't until I spoke to Philip at Lumina that I decided to move forward. He was very helpful every step of the way and made the entire process easy and straightforward. Also, the whole crew at Lumina was very professional and did great work. I highly recommend!
  • Frequently examine mounting hardware-- tighten up anything that feels loose.
  • Look for discoloration or warping on panels, indications of hidden damage.
  • Keep an eye on inverter performance metrics; sudden drops typically mean underlying problems.
